ISABELLE CHIRLS

(they & she) is a theatre & intimacy director, producer, arts administrator, and writer based in NJ/NYC.

With an ethos of theatre as consensual practice, Isabelle particularly enjoys collaborating on work that uplifts queer narratives.

Isabelle graduated from Wesleyan University in 2023 with a BA in Theatre and English (Creative Writing). They were a recipient of the Theater Department’s Outreach & Community Service prize and received high honors for her thesis “Make the Roof Cave In: Writing Queer Experience on the Page and the Stage.”

Currently, they are the Outreach Coordinator at Trinity City Arts.
